Pandora’s Box follows the rise and fall of Lulu, a showgirl who goes into hiding after a murder accusation threatens to ruin her.  In this movie, anyone is corruptible, and Lulu is probably at the heart of that corruption.

Why to watch it: Louise Brooks is made of dynamite.  While the storyline forces her character into the role of an amoral hedonist, Brooks’ performance itself challenges this pigeonholing.
