About the stache

The movies featured in Chaplin’s Moustache come with a link to a playlist, so that you can revisit these films in a new context.  This is sort of like that time in high school when you watched The Wizard of Oz while “The Dark Side of the Moon” was playing.  Heavy, man.

The mixes here are designed to sync up with each movie, so that silent film stars are dancing to 60s garage rock or acting out their angst with the help of Elliott Smith.  And they’re intended to change how we think about silent (and other classic) films.
